
LETTRINE is where the collection began. It’s built from loops, layers, and mirrored tension, part initial, part system breakdown. It behaves more like a structure than a TYPEFACE.
Everything that came after was pulled from this. It’s less about clarity and more about ritual, like carving or weaving.
The name comes from the illuminated initials of manuscripts, letters made to mark a beginning, not explain it. LETTRINE carries that idea forward. Drawn to announce form before language.
