The last summer wind and the last sunset on the Mediterranean shore inspired this piece. Costes Gracilis is a follow-up to Costes, my first typeface. I wanted to develop a version that was more slim and contrast-heavy. To me, type design is a therapeutic endeavour, and I enjoy producing errors. In a way, I like how nothing is flawless. Break the rules, then learn how to break them even more effectively.
